SPOT Vaults: How to Deposit/Withdraw in a trading Vault?
Deposit
If you want to invest, simply click on the "Invest" button of a vault that interests you.
You will arrive at the page below:
Enter the amount of USDC you wish to deposit. Minimum $10.
Click on Approve. A Metamask popup will appear. Confirm the transaction and wait for its validation.
Click on Deposit. A new Metamask popup will appear. Confirm the transaction.
When an investor deposits funds into a spot vault, they instantly receive a share of the vault. Unlike PERP vaults, there are no pending deposits, even when trades are ongoing within the vault.
Withdraw
Select the percentage of your share that you want to withdraw from the vault.
Click on Approve. A Metamask popup will appear. Confirm the transaction and wait for its validation.
Click on Withdraw. A new Metamask popup will appear. Confirm the transaction.
Withdrawal is always instant, and investors never need to wait for the trader to complete their trades.
When an investor withdraws their share from the vault, they will receive a portion of all the assets held by the vault.
Example: Suppose the trader holds 50% of the vault's funds in BTC and 50% in ETH, and the investor has deposited USDC to acquire a 10% share of the vault. When the investor withdraws their 10%, they will receive in their wallet 50% in BTC and 50% in ETH.
